Current and technical topics promise to take center stage at the third edition of this major event, which will take place on Tuesday, June 17, at the Gran Arena Monticello amphitheater, and is expected to welcome over 1,800 attendees.
Producers, exporters, experts, and industry leaders will come together at this event, aimed at conducting an in-depth analysis of the cherry market, exploring opportunities and advancements in production, and combining technical knowledge with the exchange of industry-level experiences.
All these key topics will be addressed by 14 renowned fruit industry specialists and top-tier speakers, who will lead master classes, forums, and conferences designed to invite attendees to face the challenges of today’s cherry industry and innovate in a world that is constantly evolving and improving its processes.
This will be complemented by more than 80 stands from various companies—whom we thank for being part of this new edition—as well as a space dedicated to sharing research, discoveries, and studies on cherry cultivation, which will be presented in digital poster format within the venue.
Science and Timely Analysis at the Core of Three Master Classes
Three master classes will be held throughout the event, serving as a highlight for attendees to analyze the most recent cherry season. The first will be led by Carlos Tapia, a cherry production consultant, Master in Fruit Physiology Sciences, and Technical Director of Avium.
He will speak on how to approach the new season and the opportunities presented by the current landscape.
Karen Sagredo, agricultural engineer, professor at the University of Chile, and fruit growing specialist, will address the sustained productive potential of cherries, exploring the science behind bud quality and offering her insights both as an academic and a technical consultant.
To close the event, Javier de Pablo Camarasa, Director of Finca Albalate, cherry producer under plastic, and cultivation advisor in Spain and Azerbaijan, will lead an engaging discussion on the effects of forced production in early-season zones—the topic of the third master class.
Innovation, Impact on the Production Chain, and Digital Agriculture: Forums That Promise to Surprise
CherryTech will also provide space to explore other technical and relevant industry topics with the presence of prominent experts, such as Matías Kulzcewski, agricultural engineer, consultant, and specialist in kiwis, cherries, and apples.
“We’ll be part of a forum dedicated to a critical view of the past, present, and future of our main cherry variety—the most planted and likely soon to be the most produced: our beloved Santina,” said the researcher.
Agricultural engineer, academic, consultant, and Master in Digital Agriculture, Yordi Norero, will also join the panel to discuss digital agriculture: “I’ll be participating with other speakers in a very interesting discussion on the different technologies that are now fundamental for accurate and objective decision-making, especially in cherry production.”
There’s still time for you to be part of a unique experience and join the third edition of CherryTech, the event that will connect you with top-tier speakers, decision-makers, and the latest technological advances shaping today’s industry.
