Discover the program and key highlights of CherryTech 2025: The cherry industry’s most important technical event.

The cherry industry event, which has established itself year after year as the industry’s premier showcase, is already counting down the days. A detailed analysis of the recently concluded season, the innovations offered by the agricultural sector, and high-level presentations are some of the surprises this third edition holds.

More than 1,800 producers, exporters, experts, and leaders in the cherry industry will gather this June 17th at the Monticello Hotel and Convention Center. The event, which was held at the same venue last year, has expanded this year to include the Gran Arena Monticello amphitheater, allowing it to accommodate this large number of attendees.

Throughout the day, attendees will attend master classes, forums, and technical conferences led by 14 specialists from the fruit industry, who will discuss technology, logistics, contingencies, and all the relevant topics needed to address the challenges and opportunities facing the cherry industry today. In addition, visitors will be able to visit the more than 80 stands of different companies presenting their innovations.

In addition to bringing together agricultural experts and exchanging experiences, CherryTech aims to disseminate research, discoveries, and studies on cherry cultivation. To showcase these projects, and as is traditional, a digital poster exhibition will be held within the venue, in addition to the conferences and panels.

The new scenario of the red fruit and its productive potential
As in the previous year, CherryTech will offer three master classes in 2025. The first will be led by Carlos Tapia, a specialist advisor in cherry production, Master of Science in Fruit Physiology, and technical director of Avium, a company dedicated to providing technical advice for the production of this fruit species.

On this occasion, the professional will discuss how to approach the new cherry season and the opportunities offered by the new scenario.

Along with this, Karen Sagredo, an agricultural engineer and professor at the University of Chile and a fruit-growing specialist, will speak about the sustained productive potential of cherries, analyzing the science behind bud quality and sharing her perspective as an academic and also from the world of specialized technical consulting.

Regarding her participation in this event, the specialist stated that she is “very happy to be part of this space again, which represents an excellent opportunity to connect the productive, export, and academic sectors. From our fields of knowledge, we can reflect together on how to continue improving the yield and size of this fruit, which has played a key role in the development of the Chilean agroindustry.”

Meanwhile, the third masterclass will be led by Javier de Pablo Camarasa, Director of Finca Albalate, a producer of cherries under plastic and a cherry cultivation advisor in Spain and Azerbaijan. He will lead an interesting discussion on the effects of forced production in early areas.

Analysis of varietal innovation and its impact on the production chain
The master classes will be complemented by lectures led by, among other experts, Walter Masman, renowned technical advisor, consultant, and specialist in stone fruit and cherry production, and Matías Kulzcewski, agricultural engineer, advisor, researcher, and specialist in kiwi, cherry, and apple trees.

“I believe it is essential that we can discuss and reflect on new options in varietal production. Critical analysis of the potential of each species, the area where it should be grown, and everything involved in its production will be of great help to producers and the fruit industry when facing the new challenges of the upcoming season, and spaces like CherryTech make this possible,” said consultant Walter Masman.

Digital Agriculture and the Contribution of Technology to the Cherry Industry
Innovation will also have a very important role at this event, as among the three discussion forums, one will be specifically dedicated to digital agriculture in cherry cultivation. These presentations will be complemented by key technical topics such as the use of calcium and its impact on production potential, as well as an analysis of varietal innovation.

These forums will feature, among other experts, Yordi Norero, an agricultural engineer, academic, advisor, and Master in Digital Agriculture. The forums aim to strengthen and enrich networking within a unique environment, complemented by the 80 company booths deployed at the Monticello Convention Center.

Given this is a highly relevant and well-attended event, the presence of the industry associations could not be absent. Therefore, Claudia Soler, Executive Director of the Chilean Cherry Fruit Committee, will open the event by speaking about a new strategy for the Chilean cherry industry.

With less than 33 days until its event, tickets are limited to the third edition of CherryTech. You can participate in a unique and exclusive experience where the more than 1,800 attendees expected to attend will be able to connect with top-level exhibitors, network, and meet with specialists and decision-makers who will be reporting on current developments in the cherry industry.
