Call for CherryTech Science Posters Now Open

For the second year in a row, the largest technical cherry event provides the industry with an interesting opportunity to present and disseminate research on this fruit species. These are exhibitions in digital poster format, which will be presented on June 18 at CherryTech 2024.

“Incorporating the presentation of posters in scientific and extension format implies opening an important space for professionals and academic institutions to present works and for them to reach the audience. It is a very good way to deliver as much technical information about cherry cultivation as possible and we think it is a tremendous opportunity to disseminate and contribute to the industry,” said Carlos Tapia, technical director of Avium and co-founder of CherryTech.

Among the areas of interest of publication are the following: technical management of orchard, varieties and rootstocks, irrigation, nutrition and use of biostimulants, pest and disease control, technologies and post-harvest management.

“We are pleased to make this interesting call once again, as CherryTech is committed to the dissemination of research, discoveries, studies on cherries. We want to invite researchers, teachers, students, to participate in this application period that began on April 29 and will undoubtedly culminate with major topics and selected research, as happened in 2023,” said Marie Bach, CEO of Yentzen Group and co-founder of CherryTech.

The works must be related to the cultivation of cherries and will be received until May 30, 2024 through the posters@cherrytechconvention.com mail. Those selected will be notified via email and will be able to present their research at CherryTech, the largest technical cherry event, on June 18 at the Monticello Event Center.
